Hive mind dream fast 2023

We would like to offer a departure from the traditional Vision Quest to face into what this current time is demanding us to radically change; this being the paradigm we have been operating under for centuries of going it alone and dominion over the earth, which served its evolutionary niche of time but has become woefully outdated. The new consciousness arising is the birth of a new mythology of interdependent collaboration with all of the world’s beings: animals, birds, plants, insects, humans, waters, air, and earth.  

We want to find out who we are as a people and what is possible when we enter into the solo fasting time separately, yet woven together in our dreams. We will cross over a threshold rooted in an ancient memory of belonging in a deeply interconnected matrix of the world’s diversity of life; to surrender the loneliness of the hero's journey in service to birthing a story of mutuality ~ what we are calling the Hive Mind, and includes all the life that resides and DREAMS in the landscape we are embedded in.  

We will widen the threshold time to include everyone coming together each morning of your 3-day solo to a Dream Tent, all of us shrouded to honor the mystery each of us are embraced in, and lie down in a Dream Star to speak all the dreams that have been flowing in from the Dreaming Lodge of the World. The Dream Tent, erected as an altar to the deep Dreamtime that the wilderness fast is, provides the gathering place for inter-pollinating the oneiric images arising from the landscape we are walking and dreaming upon that weave us into a collective thrumming Dream Hive with one another and the chthonic earth. After each morning’s exhalation of dreams, everyone will quietly drift back to their respective solo spots.  

Our dreams are an essential aspect to our full experience of the wild land dreaming that is ever present in the wilderness we have come to fast in. The Dream Tent will provide a transmission place for these dreams to billow out into our collective consciousness, as well as a beacon to the Dreaming Earth that we are listening closely to what is being sent from the World behind the World. This is a regal attempt to bring us together into something greater than our personal stories ~ the unfolding mythos of the world having the conduit of our shared dreams a place to reveal itself. 

Fish Lake Mountain is in itself a dreamy landscape, with fresh spring creeks burbling through aspen-rimmed meadows and one pond after the other cascading down the mountain.
